Our ethos at Sawston Nursery is to provide a safe, stimulating and secure environment where we strive to provide high quality childcare and education for all children.

We aim to achieve the best possible outcomes for each child’s individual needs whilst working in partnership with parents/carers.

The Early Years Foundation Stage seeks to provide equality of opportunity and inclusive practice. At Sawston Nursery, we ensure that every child is included and supported.

Tina is the Head of Sawston Nursery and works closely with her dedicated, qualified team to ensure the child remains at the heart of planning in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

We are now able to offer tours of the nursery to prospective families, and request that you make an appointment prior to your visit.

world book day 2024

World Book Day changes lives through a love of books and reading. At Sawston Nursery, children and staff celebrated World Book Day on 7th March 2024 where children and staff dressed up to represent their favourite book character and brought to Nursery a book to share with others.

Giving children, the perfect opportunity to get excited about sharing a story or their favourite book, plays a vital role in a child’s learning and development“.
